My first taste of Slovenian theatre

In the hostel, I develop the most fleeting of friendships with a handsome Serbian guy. He has come to Postojna to volunteer at an arts festival. It is the third evening tonight and he invites me to a play in the courtyard of a building on the town's main square.

Needless to say, I won't understand any of the Slovenian dialogue, but I am relying on the other elements of theatre (physical interaction between the characters, scenery, music, lighting) to understand the drama.

Unfortunately, it was a minimalist one-woman show, with no scenery, music or lightning. All I can guess is that said woman was quite an angry character. The title, Kurba (which means 'bitch'), seemed to support this thorough critique.
